hi and Salam to All,
i would like to share my personal experience hope so u guys will not mind it. I was doing job in accounts dept. as asst. accountant it ws exteremely boring job, i saw ma manager, ma director every time they only discuss about money money and money. same procedure all day making checks, payment vouchers, IOU's , petty cash, dealing with suppliers and nothing else. After having this all headache i switched to marketing field, and found it very interesting every time u have to work on new projects, promotion chances are much more higher than accounts.
When we talk about accounts u must have a good degree like ACCA, CPA, CA, etc. otherwise u cant get a good post (specially in Pakistan u can't) and it takes 4 to 6 years and after that u r able to start ur career. In marketing if u hav a Masters degree that is more than enough after that u and ur experience is countable. that ma opinion, i could be wrong may be cause of my little knowledge.
IN A/C'S JOB THERE IS A BIG RISK CAUSE U HAVE TO DEAL WITH MONEY.
BUT DO SELECT THAT FIELD WHICH U LIKES AND KEEP IN MIND 1 THING THAT THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE B/W THEORY AND PRACTICLE LIFE.
BEST OF LUCK.

Dear Raman Sir,
Every job is boring. Even a brain surgeon's. No one ever asks him to repair a nose. They don't even let him open the skull, I've heard, because he is too costly to do that and it is best that he only works on the brain.
And for all the good that he is worth, even if I entrust Mr Sanjeev Kapoor with my complete kitchen, I doubt if I will let him compile my accounts. So, chill. Let little Gina decide what she wants.
But trust me, if I know how boring accounts is, I would definitely have opted for something better.
Your advice suits me. Gina, take the advice.
Yours, Dhawal.

Hi Gina! I would say that accounting job/career is the dullest of all the careers you may choose. It is just numbers and no room for artistic or creative work and not very lucrative either. Look for greener and better pastures .
