It will be quite beneficial if you take classes for reporting. Because for standard understanding and opinion on financing issue senior advise much better than a self understanding.

if u see primafacie its good to study on ur own but for a better
clarity and important views u may join the classes, its upto u as
far as my experiance is concerned i think self study is better than
